The album’s perfect opening track is the super fun party starter Girl Gone Wild and that immediately sets the bar so high it’s hard to believe the rest of the album is actually better.

Gang Bang goes out to kill a former lover with speeding cars zooming in the background and gun shots all over the place. It’s a killer track with a dubstep drop and a grand finale to kill all pop songs out right now.

I’m Addicted proves Madonna really has control over her productions. This song proves electronic music can be catchy and radio friendly. I can’t believe the production value on this track.

Turn Up The Radio will make you literally do just that. This song brings out the most fun on the album.

Give Me All Your Luvin’ is just as catchy and dumb as the first time you heard it at the super bowl but in the context of the album you have to wonder why it’s here… Even if you find yourself singing it 3 hours later.

I don’t Give A .. Brings you into the life of a pop star and sends you swirling down the road so fast you’ll want to hear it again. The nicki Minaj verse all the way to the end makes you want to be better and “live fast and live right” just as the chorus goes.

I’m a sinner is as fun and free as Beautiful Stranger was in the late 90’s… Only the religious lyrics bring it to a dark place. One more standout song.

Love Spent is one of the 4 most lyrically powerful songs on the album. Lovers duel and M sings about asking her lover to love her like you love your money. Seems like something we can all relate to. (this song deserves a Grammy)

Masterpiece won the golden globe this year from the movie W./E. for a reason.

Falling Free takes you on a journey only M can take you. Nothing superficial about this song at all. The orchestral sounds at the end prove this is MDNA at her least superficial.

Beautiful Killer’s gun shot at the end I feel like is the perfect segue into …

I Fu***ed Up which is the next serious song on the album. Ending with an upbeat rhythm, this song is written about things you don’t ever want to admit or think about. More dark and personal themes. seriously good

Bday song is just fluff. But it’s catchy fluff and it’s a lot like Give Me All Your Luvin. Why’s it here!?

Best Friend is the last of the deep and emotional songs. This is what a good break up leads to- an emotional song that is fun to listen to but not really fun to actually live through.

Over all this album makes sense. There aren’t lyrics about disco sticks or unicorns or rape or nasty sex dreams…. It’s a proper dance music album for a proper pop music queen. No BS. It’s there in black and white and all you have to do is listen, no trying to figure out lyrics or song meanings.
